As a DAF Truck Dealership a large proportion of our staff are highly skilled HGV Technicians in the Service Department, trained to undertake the servicing, maintenance and repair of large commercial vehicles, at our seven operating centres at Heathrow, Luton, Park Royal, Oxford, Reading, Croydon and Belvedere. We also employ Apprentice Technicians who undertake a structured training programme lasting up to four years; this includes attendance at the DAF national training College at Bristol for several weeks during their apprenticeships, leading to nationally recognised qualifications such as BTEC and NVQ level 3 certificates.

The Parts Department offers a wide range of opportunities for storekeeping and warehouse operations and internal sales staff.

The Company’s external After Sales team promotes and markets the Company’s truck servicing and maintenance facilities and the sale of parts for all makes of trucks.

There are occasionally career opportunities in the Company’s Sales and Marketing team engaged in the sale of DAF’s wide range of internationally acclaimed high quality commercial vehicles - which are tailor made to meet the specific individual requirements of each truck operator.

A highly qualified team deals with the Company’s Accounting, Administration, Information Technology and Human Resources functions and there are sometimes opportunities at all levels in these roles. The Company assist staff in studying and obtaining appropriate professional qualifications.

From time to time there are vacancies for Managerial and Supervisory appointments in all Departments. When suitable opportunities arise, HTC’s staff are given the opportunity for internal promotion and career development. Many of the Company’s managerial and supervisory positions are occupied by our own ‘home grown’ talent.
